L33 Solo has a spacious and comfortable cockpit. The cockpit accommodates a wide range of pilots in terms of their sizes and weights. Pilot min. weight 121 lbs (55 kg), min. height 5.1 ft (155 cm), max. weight 287 lbs (130 kg), max. height 6.6 ft (202 cm). The rudder pedals and the incline of back rest are adjustible in flight. The back rest has five lower adjustment positions, and is fitted with a head rest. The visibility is superb: The pilot's head is positioned well ahead of the wings. The pilot can see in a 310° arc and when looking aft, can view airspace both above and below the wings. The canopy and undercarriage are very well sealed and consequently the cockpit is very quiet.
